Islamic Center of Southern California

On September 11th, Muslims in Los Angeles felt the same emotions as Americans throughout the nation- grief and fear. While the grief persisted, the Rampart division of the Los Angeles Police Department allayed our fears with the posted officers in front of the Islamic Center around the clock after the terrorist attacks. The leadership of Captain Thomas Runyan was instrumental in assisting the Islamic Center and its members of their importance to the local community and their safety within that community.
