The Islamic Center of Southern California strongly condemns the murder of seven Pakistani relief workers of a Christian charity in Karachi. This barbaric murder is a crime against humanity and a grave sin against God. Life is sacred as God decreed in The Old Testament and in The Quran; that whoever kills a single soul it will be as killing all humanity. The ongoing cycle of violence and vengeance have caused misery and destruction to so many different communities and must be stopped.

The Islamic Center of Southern California extends its condolences to the victims' families and to the Christian community. We urge the Pakistani authorities to apprehend and bring the perpetrators to justice.
