The Islamic Center of Southern California strongly condemns the terrorist attacks recently carried out in Mumbai which killed nearly 200 people and wounded many hundreds more. We offer our sincere condolences to the families of those affected by these attacks. Terrorism, and all violent acts directed at innocent civilians, are counter to the values of Islam and the teachings of the Qur'an and the Prophet Muhammad. We pray that all involved in such immoral criminal acts be quickly brought to justice. The Islamic Center is sending official condolences to the Embassy of India in Washington D.C.
