Islamic Center of Southern California

Mayor James Hahn, Los Angeles, has been a friend of the community since before he was in city government. He has voiced his support for the numerous Muslim occasions, and he also issued a proclamation supporting a special project by the youth of the Islamic Center, the "1,000 Student March to End Homeless". Mayor Hahn has consistently demonstrated his belief that our society should act as one unit. The Mayor signed the quilt with names of all victims of September 11 attack on America that was shown before displayed in New York City.
