Islamic Center of Southern California

The Human Relations Commission of Los Angeles County, under the leadership of Executive Director Robin Toma, has been a long-time friend and partner with the Islamic Center and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. Long before 9/11, the HRC worked with our organizations to increase awareness and tolerance. On 9/11 and in the year since, the HRC has included MPAC among its small group of partners who are actively engaged in hate crime prevention and victims assistance. The work of the HRC has been crucial in obtaining assistance for local American Muslims.
