Director of Islamic Society of Orange County Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi was among the American Muslim leaders called to meet with the President in the weeks after the attacks. He also acted as the Muslim representative to participate in the prayer service in the National Cathedral in Washington, DC which was broadcast live throughout the country. Dr. Siddiqi has long been a leader and scholar of note in the Muslim community.
