The ICSC express its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of stampeding accident in Saudi Arabia. We pray to Allah to take them under His mercy in Paradise & to give fast healing to those who are injured. We are terribly concerned about the pattern of loss of life @ this Hajj season which is supposed to be a time of peace. We call on the Saudi authorities to feel accountable to God & Ummah & to immediately conduct a thorough & transparent investigation & to declare the results to all Muslims & to seek expertise input from all over the world to come out with measures that will prevent such tragedy from happening again. The lives & blood of Muslims are too valuable to be wasted without accountability and consequences.
